OK. The colonic. YUCK!!!!!!! That was nasty! It wasn't relaxing, it wasn't refreshing, I didn't feel light and "fluffy" afterwards (the hydrotherapist's actual word) and I was just plain uncomfortable! BLECH! I did "get to watch" what passed by, and THAT WAS GROSS! So I did feel like it was working...I will get the rest of them that I have scheduled, but I won't say another word about them.
That being said, WOW! I lost 4 1/2 pounds! Yay!!! That will make today easier!
So when I got home, I ate my soup, which was pretty good, not as good as the original recipe, but I will definitely make it again and try to tweak it so the flavor is closer. I also did the skin brushing, which feels so good! And I took a bath...mmmmmm. Would have been MUCH more relaxing if the tub didn't have a slow NOISY leak and if my child had been in bed, rather than wailing that she wanted to watch Jeff and Murray.
All in all, I'm happy with the results after just one day. I'm not gassy or bloated, and my stomach hasn't hurt ONCE! YAY! And I only had two twinges of hungry yesterday, one right when I woke up (which I don't have this morning!!) and at noon, so I just started working on the veggie juice a little early. :)

An old remdy for gas and bloating is chewing a few snipets of fresh parsley or steep it and drink as a tea. I used to carry the dried parsley in a baggy on the plane with me. I was always afraid TSA would think it was pot and pull me aside!! I like using the immersible hand mixer for my drinks, it seems to give it a smoother texture and taste over shaking the crap of them!! Keep up the good work. Debbie
